Ultra high power and Narrow linewidth Single frequency Ultraviolet fiber lasers

Idealphotonics develops high power, single-frequency tunable UV lasers from 250 to 400 nm, for applications in quantum sciences such as cold atoms, ultra-cold molecules, single-photon excitation of Rydberg atom and frequency standard. It consists of an all-fiber amplifier seeded with an ultra-narrow linewidth laser, a single-pass frequency-doubling unit with periodically poled nonlinear crystal, and a cascaded enhancement cavity for UV light generation. Compared with earlier semi-conductor solution (diode laser + taper amplifier) with two cascaded enhancement cavities, the fiber solution is relatively simple and compact. The generated UV laser has a higher output power, lower RIN and a better beam shape.
